Monetary Donations

When you give to the LDRC you are not just giving to an organization, you are INVESTING in your community and you become part of the solution.  Each dollar donated returns nearly four dollars to Arizona by helping individuals transform their lives.  Individuals who may have previously received government benefits  gain employment, pay their own rent and taxes, and become dedicated community volunteers.  By giving to the LDRC you are helping people to remold their lives, reconnect with their strengths and gain the confidence to end their homelessness. Thank you for considering the LDRC in your charitable giving.

What your dollars will do…

$10 can provide transportation for four individuals to job interviews and medical appointments.
$50 can provide assistance with housing application fees
$150 can provide utility assistance for one month
$300 can provide a basic needs move-in kit for an individual moving into their apartment
$500 can provide move-in costs (deposits, rent, etc.) and follow up case management services for one individual for one month

The Noble knapsack

Preston, Arizona Native, started the Nobel Knapsack Project in 2016 when she was assigned to a mission trip focused on helping and understanding homelessness on the west coast and to address a need in the homeless community. The project was her Girl Scout Gold Award project, where she reached out the homeless women of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle and is now bringing the project home. She hopes to empower the women in need of Phoenix while supplying feminine products through the Nobel Knapsack project.
